Initially this website used to be a directory that enabled webmasters and potential clients to search for the best hosting companies as well as best packages which suited their needs. Through the directory, a client had the opportunity to have a look at the various hosting companies and make comparison on the best choices which suited ones needs.
The website was also home to other resources that could help webmasters to get started in establishing their websites or blogs. There were also free programming lessons on the site on various programming languages and also a forum where programmers and webmasters would share ideas. The directory is long gone, but I’m determined to bring the site back to life.
On the site I will publish content pertaining to different types of hosting solutions such as Linux vs. windows hosting and also the different types of hosting which are bets for different types of sites – for instance, hosting an e-commerce site will require a different package from that of a personal blog.
In future I intend to venture further on content creation and syndication as well as a little bit of SEO (search engine optimization) and other factors that impact of influence the online market. May be I will touch on web design and programming, a field that I love so much. In the meantime, I have collected several interesting and inspiring post concerning webhosting and I believe that you will learn a thing or two from the articles.
You can access the articles by clicking through the various posts below. I will be adding more content in the future as I revive this site.
Working in web and graphic designing may seem like simple work to a lot a people. They might even go as far as to say it is a waste of time or this was the majority’s view in the not so distant past. The same views are not shared in the current time. This career is now one of the most important fields especially when it comes to the computers and the internet.
Working in this field for over a decade I have come across many different languages including several computer languages and mark up languages as well. It was very fun for me learning these languages although once you have learnt any computer language and have the right level of intelligence learning the others should not take more than a couple of hours to fully understand.
I must say that working in the capacity of a web designer I have met or more accurately, I have had to interact with some of the most interesting people. You would probably assume that I am referring to some of my clients and I am but I am also pointing fingers at some of these web hosting companies and people. To be honest with you I find it a lot easier to use free hosting companies.
Other companies give you as much grief as breast cancer types as well as breast cancer treatments. I know that you me be thinking that I just don’t want to do any real work and I won’t make real money. I find working with these free websites is perfect for majority of the projects I am involved in. This might not be the case with everyone and each webmaster will have to determine the best hosting companies to work with that suite their project type and styles.
A little about languages
It is funny that I actually learnt markup language before I learnt actual computer coding. You could say that I learnt the trade backwards. Designing was a skill I had long before I decided to make it my career. I was more focused on my music until I life took a turn for the worst I had no more patients to wait on my big break. In the city where I live it was very easy for me to find a college where I could get certified in this field. If you love doing what you do you will always try to improve on it and if that includes going back to school it will be easy for you to do. You will make the time and for sure input the effort to ensure success at your love.
It is easy to get certified in this field
The way the world is today you can enroll in an online university and get certified without even leaving your home. This field is a very competitive one and your growth depends solely on your talent and work ethics. Experience will also make a difference in how successful you will become in this field of work. The field is simple, the best designer, programmers and webmasters will always be the first ones to get clients. If you are facing this as a designer of programmers then may be it is time you upgraded and get some extra lessons to get your game up.
Being the webmaster for a website of any magnitude is a job that will require your full attention. It may require just as much work as is needed for an overweight person to stay committed to a healthy meal plan. The job can be long and tiring and if you work for another person’s website you might be going through a lot more thanks to your boss. I would advise any new designer or programmer to invest into their owned website.
It might be more fruitful to spend the same time you would have spent making another person’s website the best it can be making your website the best. You get to keep all the profits made by your website so the more you put into making it a successful site is sure to determine the amount you are able to reap when the time is right. This is a field that the right person can be very successful in and the time and energy along with the money spent will be returned to you ten folds and in various successes.
